My next three projects will be carved from the stone in the picture above. From left to right they are Picasso alabaster, Mozart or Coral Pink alabaster and Moss Green Alabaster. Notice the broken little orange vase in the top right corner, I leave it there to remind me of why I should always where safety equipment.
"The Heart of the Stone" Mozart Pink... With a southwestern flair, a very aesthetic piece. This would be the center stone in the top picture. To give you an idea of the work involved in creating this piece, the wood in is attached to is 6 inches in diameter. The vase will be 5 1/4" tall and just a tich under 4" wide.
