"Sun Gold Vase"  is the name of the Utah Alabaster that I've turned into this vase. I found that this particular Alabaster is hard, it made turning difficult but not impossible. I think that the next time I carve with Sun Gold  it might be with hammer and chisel, but I love this vase. The wall of the vase are about 1/4" thick.
