This stone vase is made from is "Raspberry Ripple" Alabaster. This stone is so beautiful in person I just couldn't seem to capture it's color with my camera, if you look closely you can see some of the veining (the vertical streaks). This vase broke in half on me as it neared completion, so I am lucky that it was finished at all. In spite of the break and I do mean break (right in half) I was able to fix it satisfactorily. Even on close inspection I was unable to see the fracture or crack where it broke. I will not be selling this piece even though it turned out fine. I don't want to sell any art work that has been damaged in any way.

The walls of the vase measure 1/4" at the top middle and bottom.
